(Almost not) The most influential video of all time!
Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” was almost not released. Jackson, due to strong religious convictions as a devout Jehovah’s Witness was besieged concerning the dark content of the video. A disclaimer at the start of the video, however, stated: “Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this film in no way endorses a belief in the occult.” Once again he had outdone every other act during that era and probably the Friday The 13th franchise at the time as well!!!
I still remember the nightmares though of weird MJ watching me from the window…
