Depeche Mode turned down Brit award…?

Electro pioneers – and personally one of my favourite bands – Depeche Mode turned down the opportunity to win a Lifetime Award after discovering that ITV had no intention of airing footage of them accepting the award. The band revealed to The Sun about this offer to be validated for their endeavours since 1980 but vehemently declined after being informed of the peculiar arrangement. Totally disrespectful, in fact, towards our heroes who has been around for more than three decades and produced so many hits.
