Taming technology with intellectual pop

Population growth, urbanisation, the shifting proportions of young and old contributed to the high velocity of social change. Technological advance is critical to this network of causes and probably activates the entire net. The music industry has been caught on a runaway treadmill until we capture control of the accelerative thrust of mediocre pop mass produced bY technologically advanced studios. We have frequently applied new technology stupidly and selfishly creating a physical and social circus. The intimate link-up between technology and social arrangements galvanised our current forms of psychlogical pollution. Once society begins its take-off for super industrialisation, the "anything goes" policy becomes evident. Vince Clarke of Erasure, mastered the art of taming the technology available to produce a civilised incantation of pop compared to modern standards. Born in South Woodford and raised in Basildon, Essex Vince initially studied the violin and then the piano and spent the last three decades collecting an impressive array of analogue synthesizers. As founding member of Depeche Mode, he became a household name in the growing wave of synthpop admitting his interest in software synthesizers as they grew more popular. Vince Clarke's repetoire and expertise proves once again that technology can be utilised successfully within a pop context.
